It’s the family business that’s helped put a smile on the face of many Bairns before and after games at The Falkirk Stadium.
Now Benny T’s is hoping its new link-up with Falkirk Football Club will help Gary Holt’s side as they push for promotion back to Scotland’s top flight.
The Laurieston fish and chip restaurant has been unveiled as the new sponsor of the Family Stand at The Falkirk Stadium.
Business owners Mark and Dominique Mulholland visited Westfield yesterday (Wednesday) to see the stand along with the club’s business development manager Kieran Koszary.
Mark (37) said: “It seemed like a natural fit. We are a family business and we know Falkirk is a club that is very family-orientated.
“The stadium is right on our doorstep and everyone wants to see the club do well and get back to the Premiership.”
Falkirk are continuing an expansion of their commercial programme, which aims to increase the money it makes from the stadium. Since the installation of the new 3G synthetic pitch, clubs are able to hire the pitch out seven-days-a-week.
It also hopes to stage more concerts following the success of this summer’s Rock the Stadium festival.
Benny T’s is a long-term sponsor of the club, taking out regular advertisements in the matchday programme and elsewhere in the stadium.
Kieran said: “We are delighted to work in partnership with a successful family business in Benny T’s in our family stand venture.
“As a club we view our young supporters as the lifeblood and future of the club and the Family Stand is a vital part in this strategy.
“With our Kids Go Free policy this area has proved to be a major success and we look forward to working with Mark and his team in the seasons ahead.”
