Parish Church

Last Sunday, Rev. Murdo Campbell led the worship at 11 a.m. assisted by Caroline and Keith Wansbrough who led the children’s and youth message. In the afternoon Ian Baillie conducted the Annual Bereavement Service, assisted by the members of the Pastoral Team and the Praise Group. The minister will conduct worship at the usual time of 11 a.m. this Sunday. Tonight (Thursday) the Congregational Prayer Time takes place in the Small Hall at 7.45 p.m. The Annual Guild outing to Broughty Ferry and Carnoustie is on Saturday, May 23 leaving the church at noon. Door duty this Sunday will be by Robin Johnston, May Kennedy, Jim Striling, Maralyn Stirling, Sandra Smillie, John Rae and Willie Tomlinson. On crèche duty will be Lorraine Campbell, Nancy Lees and Mary Munro.

Over-50s Group

Make It Happen Forum - The local meeting of the Make It Happen Braes Forum for over-50s will be held in the Grange Community Centre, Brightons on Monday, May 18 from 1.30-3.30 p.m. The Forum is a great way for over-50s to get involved, discuss ideas and concerns and to have a real voice in your community. This week we will have a presentation ‘What we can do to help people with dementia’. Please come along and you’ll receive a warm welcome. The group is free to join. Tea/coffee provided.
