Parish Church

Last Sunday, Rev. Danny Mathers conducted the 11 a.m. worship assisted by Craig Smith who gave the children and youth address. During the service our thoughts and prayers were with Margo Chirray and the family following the sudden sad loss of her father, Angus Muirhead. This Sunday the minister, Rev. Murdo Campbell, will conduct the service at 11 a.m. The Annual Business Meeting will take place in the church following this service at approximately 12.30 p.m. Tonight (Thursday) the Congregational Prayer Time takes place in the Small Hall at 7.45 p.m. On Saturday there will be a film (Father of Lights) night in the Rankine Hall at 7 p.m. The closing meeting of the Guild for this session takes place this Monday at 7.30 p.m. The evening will take the form of a ‘Show and Tell’ evening when we hope members will bring an article, which means something to them, and tell us about it. A warm welcome is extended to everyone. Door duty this Sunday will be by Robert Callahan, Jean Callahan, Andrew Fulton, Graham Bell and Elwyn Batt. On crèche duty will be Joanne Kilpatrick, Nancy Lees and Evelyn Smyth.
