Parish Church

Last Sunday, the worship at the earlier summer start time of 10.30 a.m. was led by Ian Baillie, Session Clerk. This Sunday, Rev. Murdo Campbell, will lead the worship again at the earlier time of 10.30 a.m. The service will continue at this time up to and including Sunday, August 17. The Summer Sunday School for the following age groups, age three up to P3 and P4 to P7 and the creche will meet at 10.20 a.m. The Holiday Club 2014 - ‘Fit for the King’ will take place from Monday to Friday, August 11-15 at 6.15 p.m. in the church and the halls for Primary 1 -7. Pre-registration forms are available either online at www.brightonschurch.org.uk or at the church. In preparation for the Holiday Club there will be a craft preparation night on Thursday, August 7 at 7.30 p.m. in the halls. Any articles for the next issue of Bright Lights should be submitted by Sunday, August 17, either by e-mail to brightlights@brightonschurch.org.uk or left in the box in the church vestibule. Door duty this Sunday will be by Alan Macfarlane, Irene Cameron, May Kennedy, Sandra Smillie, Robert Wilson and Keith Wansbrough. The creche will be manned by Gillian Beaton, Nancy Lees and Elspeth McCallum.

Metafit Class

A metafit Falkirk class is on every Thursday at Brightons Community Hall from 8.15 p.m. All welcome. For more information call 07739 718 361. All classes will run as normal in the holidays.
