Last Sunday, Rev. Murdo Campbell led the worship during which the baptism took place of Elizabeth Rose Hamilton, daughter of Catriona and Barry Hamilton. This Sunday, Rev. Danny Mathers, our Pastoral Assistant, will conduct the worship at 11 a.m. The crèche will continue as normal at 10.50 a.m. The Sunday Schools, Triple S, Flaim and Wait for It will resume after the Christmas break on Sunday January 11, all at their usual time of 10.50 a.m. Following the All Age Family Service on Sunday, December 21, 370 gifts accompanied with a Christmas card were donated for our outreach to Polmont Young Offenders. During Christmas week, the Christmas Eve Family service at 6.30 p.m. was led by our Session Clerk, Ian Baillie, and the minister led the Christmas Eve Watchnight service at 11.15 p.m. and the half hour Christmas Day family service at 10.30 a.m. The retiring offering at these services for the Christian Aid Appeal – ‘Deliver Hope this Christmas’ – raised £665.54. Many thanks to all who contributed. The uniformed organisations and Pre-5s will resume at their usual times during the week commencing January 5. Door duty this Sunday will be by Jim Dick, Jean Cairns, Bill Cairns, Charles Maden, Liz McKellar, and Craig Smith. The crèche will be manned by Alison Cassells, Dorothy McDonald and Evelyn Smyth.
