Last Thursday the minister, Rev. Murdo Campbell, led the worship at the Braes Churches Holy Week Joint Service at 7 p.m. This was followed by a time of fellowship of tea, coffee and hot cross buns in the hall for the visitors and congregation. Last Sunday, Brent Haywood conducted the Easter Sunday All Age Service at 11 a.m. and James Elliott, representing the youth, read the lesson. Earlier on the Sunday morning there was an Easter Celebration Breakfast in the Rankine Hall. This Sunday, Ian Bailie, Session Clerk, will lead and preach at the 11 a.m. service. The Sunday Schools, Triple S, Flaim and Wait for It will meet as usual at 10.50 a.m. and the crèche continues as normal also at 10.50 a.m. The Boys’ Brigade Anchor Boys Parents’ Night will be held this Tuesday at 6.15 p.m. The Kirk Session will meet this Tuesday (April 29) at 7.45 p.m. in the Church. There will the usual prayer time for all elders prior to this meeting at 7.15 p.m. in the Small Hall.
