A courageous five-year-old who is fighting leukaemia was a VIP guest at a fundraising barbecue last weekend.

Falkirk’s Beau Miller signed up to take part in Cancer Research UK’s (CRUK) new fundraising campaign which calls on supporters to host a barbecue and invite guests to make a donation to life-saving research.

Beau was joined by his dad Ross (37) mum Emma Lindsay (32), and nine-month-old baby sister Coco at the sun-soaked barbecue in the new pub garden at The Corbie Inn, Bo’ness on Sunday which was attended by more than 50 guests and raised £355 for CRUK.

Beau featured in The Falkirk Herald last month after he was chosen to fly to London to enjoy a star-studded party held by CRUK to recognise brave youngsters battling cancer.
