Boy in hospital after incident in Falkirk street

A teenager was taken to hospital after a collision with a car today.

The accident happened just before 1pm which caused the road to be closed off.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We received a call on Friday, December 18 reporting a road traffic collision in Falkirk.

“The incident happened around 12.55pm on Glenfuir Road, involving a 13-year-old boy and a black Suzuki Liana car.

“The Scottish Ambulance Service attended and the teenager was taken to Forth Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

“Glenfuir Road was shut for a short time and re-opened at 1.30pm.”
