The next meeting of Bonnybridge Community Council takes place on Tuesday, September 30 at 7 p.m. All welcome.
Denny and Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, please contact Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.
A 1950s-themed fundraising night takes place on Saturday at Bonnybridge Bowling Club, with proceeds going to Maggie’s Forth Valley. There will be live music from Uncle Red, a rockabilly band, and a disco after. Doors are 7 p.m. and tickets are £5. A prize will be given to the person with the best 1950s costume.
Come and join the MacMillan coffee morning at Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church hall tomorrow (Friday) from 10 a.m. to noon. We are hoping to raise lots of money for this wonderful cause. Entry is by donation. Come along and enjoy coffee or tea, scones, pancakes and a home baking stall and a wee blether.
A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join the morning service at 11 a.m. A prayer group is held in the vestry each Sunday from 10.30 to 10.45 a.m. and is open to all. Sunday school and youth group meets in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. The monthly soup sunday lunches resume this weekend and will be served in the hall directly after the service. The ‘Growth Group’ bible study class began its meetings yesterday (Wednesday) and will take place each week from 7.30-9 p.m. in the church hall. The monthly meeting of Good Companions is tomorrow (Friday) at 7 p.m. in the hall, and will include a crochet demonstration. The ordination of Monica MacDonald to the Ministry takes place in Bonnybridge St Helens on Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m. All members are welcome to attend and refreshments will be served in the church hall directly afterwards.
Bonnybridge craft group will be selling items at the Macmillan coffee morning taking place at Carrongrange School, Stenhousemuir, tomorrow (Friday) from 10 a.m. to noon.
Friendly Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Come along and meet our walk leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information call (01324) 673703.
