Make It Happen

The local meeting of the Make It Happen Forum for over-50s will meet in Bonnybridge Community Centre, Bonnybridge on Monday from 10.30 a.m.-12.30 p.m. The Forum is an exciting new way for over-50s to get involved, discuss ideas and concerns and to have a real voice in your community. This month’s meeting is all about health. We’ll have presentations by Living It Up and Keep Well (explaining the health checks available). Please phone (01324) 712106 or e-mail to book your place. Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. Friendly Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Buggy Group

The Bonny strollers buggy group meet every Friday 1.15pm at Bonnybridge health centre, Larbert Road, Bonnybridge. All welcome. All walks are free. For more information, call (01324) 504556 or email

Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to visit Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church for morning service at 11 a.m. Prayer time is held in the vestry each week at 10.30 till 10.45 a.m. and is open to all. A good attendance of the Kirk Session is requested to meet in the Session Room at 10.45 a.m., prior to the Induction of New Elder Ian Watson. Dress Code is Black. Sunday School and Youth Group meets in the Church Hall at 10.50 a.m. Good Companions Meet in the Church Hall Friday 31st October at 7p.m with a Gift Wrapping Demonstration. Tuesday, November 4. Ladies Fellowship meets in the Church Hall at 7 p.m. A Bring and Buy will take place at this meeting.

Fiddle Concert

The Caledonia Fiddle Orchestra will play in Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church on Wednesday, November 19, at 7.30p p.m. Tickets £7 (incl. light refreshment) available from Mrs Mary Logan on 01236 603758. Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau now provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre on a Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, please contact Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.

Prize Bingo

There is a prize bingo in aid of Rachel House Children’s Hospice, tonight (Thursday) in Bonnybridge Social Club. Eyes down 7.30 p.m. Thanks to local businesses for their kind donations towards the prize bingo.
