Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre on a Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join the Sunday worship at 11 a.m. Prayer time is open to all and is held in the Vestry from 10.30-10.45 a.m. Sunday School and Youth group meets in the church hall at 10.45 a.m. prior to the morning service. Tuesday Morning Group meets in the hall for tea and coffee from 10 a.m. with a short service at 11 a.m. Choir meets on Friday, March 20 from 6-7 p.m. in the hall. A charity ceiidh takes place on Friday, March 20 from 7.30-11 p.m. in St Joseph’s Hall, Broomhill Road. Tickets, costing £6, available from Jim, Moira or George on (01324) 874807 proceeds for Friends of Place of Restoration Charity. On Saturday, March 21 two leaders from the Place of Restoration in South Africa will be visiting and a welcome tea is held in the church hall from 2 p.m. for anyone who would like to meet them and hear about how Scottish fundraising has helped the Shelter over the last year. On Sunday bring your Easter Eggs to be donated to children helped by Aberlour Trust. The church annual general meeting takes place in the church at 11.45 a.m. after the morning service on Sunday. Ladies Fellowship meets on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the hall. Choir meets on Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. Good Companions meets next Friday at 7 p.m.

Bowling Club

The prize bingo will be held in the club on Monday, March 30 at 7 p.m. and is pay at door. All club members lists are now available in the clubhouse for those wishing to participate in opening days. All new members welcome.

Craft Group

Bonnybridge Craft Group will be selling handmade goods in St Joseph’s school tomorrow (Friday) from 7 p.m. Proceeds will go to the primary seven residential trip fund. Bonnybridge Craft Group continually raises funds for good causes and wish to give thanks for the recent very generous donations of wool received.

Braveheart Walk

Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. every Wednesday with a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30-minute walk amongst many marvellous paths. Come along and meet our walk leaders and some welcoming faces where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwards. For more information please call (01324) 673703.

Buggy Group

Line Dancing

Next class takes place in St Helen’s church hall on Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. New members welcome.

Charity Bingo

After another successful charity bingo night, Cath Shirra would like to thank Lynne, Robert, Ron, Justin, Jordan, Sarah, Irene and Katherine for their help last Thursday night. After three prize bingo sessions and three Christmas hampers raffled, the final combined total raised for Rachel House (CHAS) is £2747.50. Thanks to all companies in the Bonnybridge and surrounding area for their kind donations making this possible for these sick and needy children.
