Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join the Sunday worship at 11 a.m. Prayer time is open to all and is held in the vestry from 10.30-10.45 a.m. Sunday School and Youth Group meets in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. prior to the morning service.

Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre every Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, please call Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.

Masonic News

Cumbernauld St. Andrew’s Lodge No. 199 carried out a fine Third Degree ceremonial in Lodge Dolphin No. 911 on January 9. The next meeting will be a first degree by RWM Brother Ross Hardie and his team at 7.30 p.m. tonight (Thursday).

Music Club

Bonnybridge Music Club will resume on January 28 at the Masonic Hall at 7 p.m. The new list of music club dates for the full year is available from the club secretary Joe Sneddon.


Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. every Wednesday. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Come along and meet our walk leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information call (01324) 673703.

The Bonny strollers buggy group meet every Friday 1.15 p.m. at Bonnybridge Health Centre, Larbert Road, Bonnybridge. All welcome. All walks are free. For more information call (01324) 504556 or email

Crown Hotel

The Christmas drinks hamper in the Crown Hotel, Dennyloanhead, raised a fantastic £120. This included £10 given by the domino team, £10 donated by Jimmy Cummings and £100 from the hamper itself. The drinks hamper was won by Jean Liddell.

Line Dancing

Next class takes place on Tuesday in St Helen’s church hall from noon-1 p.m. Beginners and improvers welcome.
