Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to join the Sunday worship at 11 a.m. Prayer time is open to all and is held in the Vestry from 10.30--10.45 a.m. Sunday School and Youth Group meets in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. prior to the morning service. Tuesday Morning Group meets in the hall for tea and coffee from 10 a.m. with a short service at 11 a.m. Church choir meets tomorrow (Friday) at 6 p.m. in the hall. Good Companions meets in the hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7 p.m. Please note the change of date. Soup Sunday takes place on February 22 in the hall after the morning service. A Gospel puppet show ‘Acting Up’ tales place in the church on Friday, February 27 at 7.30 p.m. Lots of laughs and Muppet-style family fun for adults and children of school age. Tickets are £5 and £2 for children, in aid of the childrens charity Place of Restoration. The Ladies Fellowship meets on February 24 at 7 p.m. in the church hall. Holy Communion takes place on Sunday, March 1 at 11 a.m.

Masonic News

There was a good turnout at the emergency meeting held in Lodge Dolphin on Friday, February 13 when two candidates received the second Degree from the RWM Brother Ross Hardie and his team. The next meeting will be a first degree by the office-bearers of Bonhill and Alexandria Royal Arch Lodge No. 321 at 7.30 p.m. tonight (Thursday).

Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre on a Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. Prize Bingo

A prize bingo takes place in Bonnybridge Social Club on Thursday, March 12. Eyes down at 7.30 p.m. All proceeds will go to Rachel House Childrens Hospice in Kinross (CHAS).

Walking Group

Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. every Wednesday. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Historical Society

The Greenhill Historical Society recently held it’s annual general meeting when a number of members were elected to the various posts. The format and contents of the next magazine, due out in April, was also discussed and a variety of historically related trips were organised along with a calendar of events. Anyone interested in coming along to the meetings or wishing to relate any local historical information or materials, can contact Bonnybridge Library every Friday between 2 - 4 p.m. or through the website, where all details about the society can be seen.

Buggy Group
