Masonic News

There was a large turnout of members and visitors at the Regular Meeting held in Lodge Dolphin No. 911 on Thursday, December 4. One candidate received the Second Degree from the RWM Brother Craig Lamont and his team. The next meeting will be the Installation of Office-bearers at 7.15 p.m. prompt on Thursday, December 18. Members should note that the meeting scheduled for January 1 has been moved to 7.30 p.m. on Friday, January 9 when it will be a Third Degree by Cumbernauld St. Andrew’s Lodge No. 199.

St Helens Parish

Bonnybridge St Helens Parish Church welcomes you to our Lessons and Carols with Sunday School Nativity on Sunday at 11 a.m. Prayer Time is open to all and will be held in the Vestry, 10.30-11.45 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, Christingle Family Service at 6.30 p.m. in the church. Elves Workshop to make Christingles begins at 6.10 p.m. Watch Night Service at 11.30 p.m. Tea/coffee and Christmas pies will be served in the hall from 10.30 p.m. There will be NO Christmas Day service at Bonnybridge St Helens. We are joining with Haggs Parish Church, Christmas Service at 11 a.m. on Christmas morning.

Saturday, December 20, 3-5 p.m., Christmas Party, Broompark Community Centre, Davies Row, Denny, £7. Tuesday, December 23, noon-1 p.m., St Helen’s Church Hall, High Street, Bonnybridge, £3, beginners and improvers welcome.

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvellous paths. Come along and meet our walk leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwards.
