Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to join the morning service at 11 a.m. Prayer time takes place in the Vestry every Sunday from 10.30-10.45 a.m. and is open to all. Following the morning service the monthly soup lunch will be served in the church hall. A warm invitation is extended to come and enjoy the fellowship. Sunday school and youth group meets in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. Good Companions meets in the church hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7 p.m.

Masonic News

There was a fine turnout at the regular meeting held in Lodge Dolphin No. 911 last Thursday when eight candidates received the mark master mason degree from a team of past masters of the lodge. The next meeting will be a first degree at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1. Members and friends are encouraged to frequent the lodge during the summer recess.

Citizens Advice

An information and advice clinic takes place at Bonnybridge Community Centre each Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. If you would like an appointment with a CAB advisor please call (01324) 503290. For more details see Denny.

Braveheart Walks

Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. every Wednesday. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvellous paths. Come along and meet our Walk Leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwards. For more information call (01324) 673703.

Over-50s Forum

The local meeting of the Make It Happen Forum will be held in Bonnybridge Community Centre on Monday, April 27 from 10.30 a.m.-12.30 p.m. The Forum is a great way for over-50s to meet new people, get involved, discuss ideas and concerns and to have a real voice in the community. This month there is a presentation on Self Directed Support by Margaret Petherbridge and information on U3A (University of Third Age). You’ll also be able to find out what the Forum has achieved so far. All welcome. Tea and coffee provided.

Line Dancing

Next class takes place on Tuesday from noon-1 p.m. in St Helen’s church hall. Beginners and improvers welcome.
