Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church is holding a ‘Messy Church’ family fun afternoon on Saturday from 1.45-4 p.m. There will be crafts, song, games and tuck so parents, carers, grandparents, aunts, uncles bring your children along and enjoy a fun packed afternoon.
The next edition of Bonnyseen Magazine will be launched in Bonnybridge Library on Tuesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. The topic for the evening is Smith and Wellstood. A warm welcome is extended to all and if you worked in Smith & Wellstood we would be delighted to hear your stories. There will be a fundraising raffle on the evening. Thereafter copies will be available in the library, the Community Centre, Jet garage, Profile Hairdressers, Health Centre and various other venues. All donations for the magazine will be gratefully received.
The Palm Sunday service at Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church begins at 10.30 a.m. and is a special invitation family service. Prayer group meets from 10.30-10.45 a.m. in the vestry. Sunday school and youth group begins at 10.45 a.m. There is a creche for younger children. The organising team of the Messy Church are meeting tonight (Thursday) in the hall. Holy Week services, all beginning at 7.30 p.m., take place at Haggs on Monday, Tuesday at Bonnybridge St Helen’s, Wednesday at Dunipace, Thursday at Haggs and the Good Friday service at Bonnybridge St Helen’s. On Saturday, April 19 the Flowering of the Cross takes place in the hall from 3-5 p.m. Please bring white flowers. The Bonnybridge St Helen’s Easter Sunday early service takes place in the hall at 9.15 a.m. followed by an Easter breakfast at 9.45 a.m. in the hall with an egg painting
competition for the children. The main Easter service begins at 11 a.m.
The regular meeting of Lodge Dolphin No. 911 held on April 3 was well attended by members and visitors. One candidate received the third degree from the RWM Bro. Craig Lamont and his team of office-bearers from Lodge Dolphin No. 911. Brother Kevin McLean RWM Lodge Denny No. 176 replied on behalf of the many visitors. The next meeting will be a mark degree at 7.30 p.m. by Lodge Carron No. 139 on Friday, April 18.

Our Braveheart walk at Bonnybridge leaves from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a shorter 30 minute walk.
