Children at Bonnybridge Primary School were making a splash last week while raising money for Children in Need.
Last Friday, headteacher Jill Stocks and deputy head Andrew Watson allowed pupils the chance to throw sponges at them all in the name of charity.
Jill said: “I went home blue, however, it was worth it and we raised a great amount of money.”
The school raised £1164 and the children got the chance to meet Pudsey on Friday as well.
Blossoms cafe, in Torwood Garden Centre, Larbert, sold raffle tickets all week and held a tombola on Friday to help collect money.
Janet Alexander, who organised the event, said: “We had amazing prizes this year, from racing at Knockhill to spa days. The kids loved it when they got to meet the Minions and My Little Pony as well.” Overall Blossoms raised £2524 for Children in Need.
Last week, saw a record breaking total for the BBC charity with more than £37 million being raised across the country by people from all walks of life.
