Blooming good result for floral Falkirk pair

A local group proved Falkirk's green-fingered fraternity was in top form with a gold award at the 2016 Gardening Scotland Show.

Falkirk Floral Art Club’s Alison Rodgers and Eunice McPhee had great success at the event at Ingliston with their interpretation of the title ‘Sapphire and Steel’ earning them a gold medal.

The club runs six practical classes per session for enthusiasts of all levels of ability to learn how to arrange flowers and create beautiful floral designs.

The club has just finished for the 2015/2016 session but recommences with a floral demonstration on Monday, September 5, at 7.30pm in the Lesser Town Hall, Falkirk.

New members and visitors are always welcome to go along and give the rewarding art a go or find out more information.
