Bake-Off star Nadiya says ‘don’t be late’ posting for Christmas
Nadiya’s ‘first class’ red postbox cake was to remind people to get their Christmas greetings send out nice and early in a bid to help hard-pressed postmen and women.
And the Great British Bake-Off star also had advice about using the postcode on cards and parcels, so that Royal Mail workers can sort the festive mailbag as quickly as possible.

Hide AdNadiya said: “We can all help at this busiest time of year for Royal Mail by posting our cards and gifts early, supporting the postmen and women who deliver to more than 29 million addresses around the country.”
Royal Mail latest recommended posting dates for UK Christmas delivery are:
Second Class – Saturday 19 December
First Class - Monday 21 December
Special Delivery Guaranteed – Wednesday 23 December
Postcode information is available from the Royal Mail website at Find a postcode
Customers sending Christmas cards and presents abroad are also being encouraged to post early so that mail arrives in time for Christmas Day.
