Credit Union

Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start the walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and cake. Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a tea dance which will be held in Bainsford Community Centre in aid of SOFIA project for senior citizens on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.

Country Dancing

A new session of Scottish country dancing starts in Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street tonight (Thursday), at 7.30 p.m. New members very welcome.

Parish Church

On Sunday, a special family service will take place in Bainsford Parish Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Sarle conducting the service with the theme being ‘That’s Not Fair’. This service will combine the enrolment of the Boys’ Brigade and the Girls’ Brigade and the Harvest Thanksgiving. The Boys’ Brigade will be dedicating a new Queen’s Colour. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m until 1 p.m in the Dawson Centre, there is a job drop-in club which has been in operation for nearly three years with free access to Job Centre web site, help with C.V. benefits advice and support. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Eating Vouchers will be accepted. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.
