On Wednesday, June 4, the Durant Acappella singing group from Nashville, USA will be holding a concert at Bainsford Community Hall. Admission is free, though voluntary donations will be accepted. On Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated in Bainsford Parish Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael R. Philip preaching and the Rev. Andrew Sarle giving support. The Kirk Session will meet at 10.40 a.m. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. The Deacon’s Court and Kirk Session will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop-in Club which has been in operation for nearly three years, with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre website; help with CV benefits advice and support available. Every Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Dawson Café (which is located in the Dawson Centre) you can buy fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices.
