Dawson Centre

On Sunday, June 28 at 11.30 a.m. a church service will be held by the Miller Hall (Grahamston Evangelical Church) with refreshments served afterwards. All welcome.


Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at the earlier time of 10 a.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Sarle with the theme being “Don’t be afraid: only believe”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop-in Club with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre website; help with CV. Benefits advice and support available. Tea and coffee on offer. For any information contact Alan Bald on 01324 501470.

Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a prize bingo in aid of the SOFIA Project, which will be held in the Bainsford Community Centre on Tuesday, June 30. Doors open 6.30 p.m.; eyes down at 7 till 9 p.m. Please bring your own cup.
