Credit Union

Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Sarle conducting the service on the theme of ‘Working for Jesus is easy, his burden is light’. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Fruit Barra

The Fruit barra which is normally located in the Dawson Cafe will not be there tomorrow (Friday) as it will be at the Dawson Gala Day. Throughout the summer holidays up to and including Friday, August 15, it will be available from noon till 3 p.m. On Friday, August 22, it will be at the normal time of 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Special Day

Last Tuesday, pupils from the local primary schools, Bainsford, Langlees and St Francis Xavier’s joined with Carron and Carronshore primary schools in Carron Road, and Ronades Road to welcome the Queen’s Baton Relay through Bainsford. The privileged baton holders were: John Swan, Tam Brown, Colin Brown, Leslie Stoddart and Des Tinney. Before the arrival of the Queen’s Baton, the pupils were treated to the sound of lorry drivers and police motor cyclists sounding their horns. The pupils and local residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Carron Connect

The Carron Connect Partnership will hold it’s annual general meeting in the Bainsford Community Centre on Tuesday, July 15, at 7 p.m.

Walking Group
