Dawson Centre

On Sunday at 11.30 a.m. a church service by the Grahamston Evangelical Church (Miller Hall) will be held in the Dawson Centre. All welcome.

B Fest

Rock up in your best festival style and join in B Fest. Aimed at families with young children (0-8 years), this fun outdoor event will have lots to keep the little ones amused. Enjoy the open-air disco, funky fitness, bouncy castles, baby sensory, face painting, hair braiding, henna and food workshops with goodies to take away. Event will take place on Tuesday, August 12 from noon until 3 p.m. at the Dawson Centre. All inclusive ticket is £2.50 per child (under ones are free) and available from the Dawson Centre, David’s Loan, Bainsford. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult. Braveheart Walks

Our devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start walking at 10.30 a.m. finishing an hour later in Greggs for a tea and cake. If you would like to find out more information please call (01324) 673703 or our walk leader on (01324) 554897.

Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Scott, chaplain at Polmont YOI conducting the service. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Mission there is a Job Drop In Club which has been in operation for nearly three years, with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre web site, help with C.V., benefits advice and support. Fruit Barra

The Fruit Barra which is located in the Dawson Cafe, will be available throughout the summer holidays up to and including Friday, August 15, it will be from noon till 3 p.m. Please note the change of time. Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a Tea Dance which will be held in the Bainsford Community Centre in aid of the SOFIA Project for senior citizens on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
