Dawson Centre

On Sunday at 11.30 a.m. a Christmas Service by the Grahamston Evangelical Church (Miller Hall) will be held in the Dawson Centre. All welcome.


Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with the Ladies Group leading the service, with the Rev. Andrew Sarle in attendance. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. Last Sunday, during the uplifting of the offering the Boys’ Brigade and the Girls’ Brigade handed out gifts of sweets to members of the congregation. After the close of the service, the boys and girls sang Christmas songs. In conclusion, Mr A. Sarle thanked the Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade for a most enjoyable service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop In Club which has been in operation for nearly three years. The following facilities are available: free access to Job Centre web site; help with CV; benefits advice and support available. Tea and coffee on offer. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Start vouchers will be accepted. For any information, contact Michelle on 01324 501470.
