Bowling Club

Bainsford Bowling Club is holding a prize bingo on Thursday, October 23 to raise funds for the club. Tickets are on sale now from behind the bar priced at £1. The club is looking for donations of prizes, and there is a sheet up in the clubhouse or see Andy or Anne Milne.

Bowling Club

Bainsford Bowling Club is holding a BBQ/family Day at the Green on Saturday, September 20. Bowls will begin at 3 p.m. with the BBQ starting about 4 p.m. Cost is £3 for an adult while children eat free. All welcome.

Dawson Centre

On Sunday at 11.30 a.m., a church service by the Grahamston Evangelical Church (Miller Hall) will be held in the Dawson Centre. All welcome.

Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start the walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for a tea and cake. If you would like to find out more information please call 01324 673703 or our walk leader on 01324 554897.

Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Sarle conducting the service with the theme being “Take up your cross”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop In Club which has been in operation for nearly three years, with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre website, help with CV, benefits advice and support available. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m .in the Dawson Cafe (located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Start Vouchers will be accepted. For any information contact Michelle on 01324 501470.

Boys’ Brigade

All sections of the 8th Falkirk Boys’ Brigade will meet in Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street tomorrow (Friday). Sections are: Anchors 6-7 p.m.; Juniors - 6.30-8.30 p.m.; Company 8-10 p.m. All welcome. Come along and learn new skills/activities and have lots of fun. Girls Brigade
