Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at an earlier time of 10 a.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Sarle with the theme being “Jesus the Gardener”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop in Club with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre website; help with C.V. benefits advice and support available. Tea and coffee on offer. For any information contact Alan Bald on (01324) 501470.


Last Thursday, Bainsford Reminiscence Action Heritage Group (BRAHG) had a memorable visit to Scone Palace. The party enjoyed having a walk round the various rooms in the Palace seeing the unique collection of porcelain, ivories and French furniture, then enjoyed a picnic lunch in the grounds with the peacocks for company. The party were able to visit - The Moot Hill, The Douglas Fir etc. A great time in glorious sunshine was had by all with many photographs taken.
