Dawson Centre

On Sunday, a church service by the Grahamston Evangelical Church (Miller Hall) will be held in the Dawson Centre at 11.30 a.m. All welcome.

This is a group of people who meet in a friendly, supportive and confidential environment Monday mixed group meets 7-9 p.m. and men only group meets first and third Thursday from 2-4 p.m. in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael R. Philip preaching and the Rev. Andrew Sarle giving support with the theme being “Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Dancing Break

The Scottish Country Dancing which is held in Bainsford Parish Church hall has finished and will resume in September.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre, there is a Job Drop in Club which has been in operation for three years, with the following facilites: free access to Job Centre Web site; help with CV benefits advcie and support available. Fruit Barra

Every Friday from 10 a.m till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre) you can buy fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Start Vouchers will be accepted and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a Tea Dance which will be held in the Bainsford Community Centre in aid of SOFIA Project for senior citizens on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Entrance fee is £1.

B.U.L.B. Meeting

The annual general meeting of Brighter Langlees and Bainsford community group will be held in The Sub (opposite the Dawson Centre) on Tuesday from 9.30 a.m. till 10.30 a.m. All welcome.

CanDo Meeting

The annual general meeting of the Ca Do community group will be held in the Sub (opposite the Dawson Centre) on Tuesday from 10.30 a.m till 11.30 a.m. All welcome.

Braveheart Walks

The Dawson walk was chosen as Walk of the Month!! Our sociable walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m, finishing an hour later at the cafe, for a chat over a cup of tea (and perhaps a cake).
