Braveheart Walk

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30am, finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? This is a group of people who meet in a friendly, supportive and confidential environment. There is a mixed group every Monday from 7pm to 9pm. in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan. Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at an earlier time of 10am and will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Sarle with the theme being Bread of Heaven. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. Anyone requiring the services of a minister should contact the Rev. Andrew Sarle on (01324) 621648.

Drop-in Club

Every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop in Club with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre website; help with CV; benefits advice and support available. Tea and coffee on offer. For any information contact Alan Bald on (01324) 501470.

Holiday Club

Bainsford Holiday Club which meets every Thursday from 1.45pm to 3.15pm in the Bainsford Community Centre, will welcome new and old members from any area. Please bring your own cup and dancing shoes.

Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a Tea Dance which will be held in the Bainsford Community Centre on Sunday from 1.30pm to 4pm in aid of the SOFIA Project for Senior Citizens.

Girls’ Brigade

8th Falkirk Girls’ Brigade is due to start back on Tuesday, August 25 from 7pm to 8pm in Bainsford Parish Church Hall, Smith Street. This is an enrolment evening.
