Baby of the Week: Lucie Olivia Short
THE DETAILS: Lucie was born November 7 last year at 11.59am in Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 6lb 6oz.
THE PARENTS: Kelly Crow (24) works at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Adam Short (25) is a civil servant. The couple live in Falkirk and got engaged last month. They are set to tie the knot on September 22, 2018.
THE PREGNANCY: Kelly said the pregnancy was fine up until she had to have an induced labour.
THE BIRTH: At 37 weeks and one day Kelly was induced and at 37 weeks and three days little Lucie was born.
THE BABY: Lucie is a happy content wee baby. Mum Kelly said: “She is really bubbly and is always smiling. She now sleeps all the way through the night.” Adam’s five-year-old step-son Aaron adores his new little sister and loves to help look after her.

THE NAME: The couple could not think of a name so went through the baby book and Lucie was discovered. Kelly said: “We gave it a bit of a twist with spelling it ‘ie’ instead of ‘y’.” Kelly always wanted the name Olivia so the couple agreed it would be their child’s middle name.
