Baby of the Week: Lucas Andrew Varma

THE PARENTS: Mum Jade Martin (21) has taken time-off her work to spend time with her new bundle of joy and dad Lewis Varma (25) is a baker at Lidls. The couple live together in Falkirk and are in the process of planning their wedding.

THE PREGNANCY: Jade said the pregnancy was fine and fairly straightforward.

THE BIRTH: Lucas was originally due to be born on February 7, however he arrived a few days early.

THE BABY: Lucas is a very happy and healthy baby. Mum jade said: “He is doing fantastic and he has just started to laugh which is amazing. Lucas almost sleeps the whole way through the night only waking us up once.”

THE NAME: The couple always liked the name Lucas and after finding out it was a boy during the pregnancy the couple agreed on the name. Andrew is after Jade’s father, Drew.
