THE BABY: Kerry describes her baby son as “so jolly”, adding he rarely cries. However, he likes to see everything that goes on and isn’t too keen on sleeping.

THE NAME: The couple wanted a Scottish name but couldn’t agree on one until he was born and they decided Lochlyn suited him perfectly.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Lochlyn is a fourth grandchild for Maureen McDonald of Airth and Malcolm McDonald of Larbert, and a third grandson for Morag and Jim McGeechan of Greenock.

THANKS: Thanks to both grannies for all their help and support.
