THE PARENTS: Mum Alisa Watson (32) is a learning support assistant at Kinnaird Primary School, while dad Barry Watson (33) is a driver. The couple also have three sons, Jack (11), Tommy (9) and Blair (6), and the family live in Maddiston.
THE PREGNANCY: Alisa described it as “having its moments” but said apart from pelvic pain at the end, it was pretty straightforward.
THE BIRTH: Baby was due on March 31 but decided to arrive five days early on Mother’s Day. It was a normal delivery which Alisa said was “absolutely fine”.
THE BABY: The first girl on one side of the family for over two decades, Lily is described as “really happy and content” by mum, who added: “She’s a lovely wee doll.”
THE NAME: The couple were looking for a feminine name and both liked Lily. Allana is after Alisa’s grandpa Allan.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Lily’s delighted grandparents are Lorna and Andrew Prentice of Grangemouth, and Carolann Watson and Andrew McClymont of Fauldhouse.
THANKS: The couple would like to thank the Poppy team at FVRH and all family and friends.
