Baby of the Week: Harper Cole Andy Jeffrey

THE PARENTS: Mum Louise (34) is a hairdresser, while Dad Alexander (34) works in construction. Harper has older siblings Morgan (14), Abbie (11) and Lewis (10) and the family stay in Grangemouth.

THE PREGNANCY: Louise said it was a very worrying time after giving birth to a stillborn baby Cole in February 2016.

THE BIRTH: Louise said everything went smoothly. Harper was three weeks early but he was perfectly healthy and there were no complications. She had a planned c-section.

THE NAME: The couple liked the name Harper. They named him after Cole and grandad Andy who had passed away a couple of months before he was born.

THE BABY: Louise said Harper is brilliant and the whole family are ecstatic after such a worrying time. She said it’s great to have him here .

THE GRANDPARENTS: Harper is the seventh grandchild of Andrew and Tricia Cunningham from Stenhousemuir and George Thomson of California, Falkirk. And he is the eighth grandchild of Christine and Jim Matthews from Airth and Eck Jeffrey from Grangemouth.
