Baby of the Week: Davis Archie Irvine

THE PARENTS: Mum Lynsey (26) is a swimming teacher and dad Stuart (27) is a provisioning agent for an internet provider. Davis is the couple’s first child and the family live in Grangemouth.

THE PREGNANCY: Lynsey says she was very lucky as she didn’t even feel pregnant!

THE BIRTH: Lynsey says the birth was fine and wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. Davis was due on November 23 and arrived two days early. Lynsey was in labour for 20 hours.

THE NAME: They had a baby name book and Lynsey liked the name Davis. Stuart wasn’t keen initially but grew to like it. The middle name Archie is named after Stuart’s late grandad.

THE BABY: Lynsey says Davis is a content wee baby and is only up once through the night. She says that you can start to see his character coming through already.

THE GRANDPARENTS: David is the first grandchild of Susan and Brian Glasgow from Grangemouth and is the third grandchild for Yvonne and John Irvine from Linlithgow.
