THE PARENTS: Mum Ashleigh Slaven (28) is from Falkirk and works as a solicitor, while dad Jamie Slaven (32) is an HGV driver. The couple lives in Brightons and Brody is their first child.
THE PREGNANCY: Ashleigh suffered from sickness through 28 weeks of her pregnancy, but was fine apart from that.
THE BIRTH: Induced two weeks before her due date, Ashleigh said: “It was just because Brody was growing so much and was going to be a chunky monkey.”
THE BABY: Brody “likes his milk” and has already grown to 15lbs. He sleeps well through the night but doesn’t like to nap during the day because he is “so nosey”.

THE NAME: Brody was a name that Ashleigh had liked ever since she heard it watching the reality show The Hills. Brody’s middle name is a tribute to his dad.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Brody is the sixth grandchild of Wilma and David Morton from Falkirk.
