Baby of the Week: Alexander Robert Taylor

THE PARENTS: Mum Sarah Taylor (21) comes from Grangemouth and is a member of the bar staff at Larbert’s Station Hotel, while dad Cameron McGibbon (22) is a welder from Bonnybridge. The couple live together in Grangemouth and Alexander is their first child.

THE PREGNANCY: Sarah said the nine months carrying Alexander was absolutely perfect with no sickness whatsoever.

THE BIRTH: Sarah had to be induced but the procedure went smoothly with the birth taking around six hours.

THE BABY: Alexander is a very happy wee boy who is always smiling and has been sleeping all through the night. “We couldn’t have asked for a better baby,” beamed proud mum Sarah.

THE NAME: Alexander is the name of Sarah’s mum’s dad, while Robert was the name of her dad’s dad. “We kept everyone happy,” laughed Sarah.

THANKS: Sarah thanks her sister Clare who was there for her, supporting her throughout the pregnancy and also at the birth.
