Baby of the Week: Adam Anthony James Glackin

THE PARENTS: Mum Shellana Sharpe (20) is an early years officer with Falkirk Council while partner Adam Glackin (23) works as a heat treatment technician. The family live in Shieldhill with their first born.

THE PREGNANCY: Fortunately everything went really well throughout with only a few expected mild symptoms at the beginning.

THE BIRTH: Everything happened very quickly with Shellana experiencing mild backache on the Saturday morning which gradually got more intense. She arrived at hospital at 1pm and, less than two hours later, gave birth.

THE BABY: Shellana said they could not ask for a better baby who literally eats, sleeps and gets changed. He sleeps well day and night and is feeding well.

THE NAME: Mum is very family orientated and wanted to ensure she honoured the important men in Adam’s life. Adam after daddy, Anthony after grandad and James after daddy’s godfather who absolutely adores him.
