THE DETAILS: Murray was born at 3.13am on August 21, in Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 8lb 1.5oz.
THE PARENTS: Mum Kirsty (23) is an early years practitioner and dad Gordon Hyslop (25) works for BT. The couple live together in Bonnybridge and have been married for three years.
THE PREGNANCY: Kirsty said the pregnancy turned out to be pretty straightforward and she didn’t have any problems during her nine months.
THE BIRTH: Murray kept his mum and dad waiting as he was two weeks late. Kirsty had to be induced into labour in hospital.
THE BABY: Kirsty said: “Murray is a great baby. He is really long for only five months.” He doesn’t keep his mum and dad up at night as he sleeps the whole way through and is a really happy and fun child.
THE NAME: The couple liked the names Murray and Archie and decided they liked Murray better. George was the name of Gordon’s papa.
