THE DETAILS: Callum David Liddell was born at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on September, 20, 2015 at 18.12pm, weighing 7lb 5oz.
THE PARENTS: Alison (30) works in a bank in Edinburgh and husband Drummond (27) works for Doosen Babcock in Grangemouth. They live in Polmont and also have a two-year-old son, Dylan.
THE PREGNANCY: Alison only discovered she was pregnant when she went in to hospital to have her gall bladder removed. She spent the first 16 weeks of her pregnancy in and out of hospital. However, after that it was pretty straightforward.
THE BIRTH: Callum was born three weeks early and due to breathing problems spent the first week of his life in the neonatal unit in hospital.
THE NAME: The couple agreed pretty quickly on the name Callum and his middle name is after Drummond’s father, David.
THE BABY: Callum is a very happy child who enjoys his cuddles and absolutely loves his milk. Big brother Dylan is adapting to being a big brother well.
THANKS: Alison would like to thank all the staff at the neonatal unit for their help and support and Ann Shaw, the midwife from the Bluebell team. A big thank you to both parents, friends and family who have helped with Callum and Dylan over the past months.
