Parish Church

A very warm welcome awaits you to join in worship at 9.45 p.m. this coming Sunday, April 6 led by the Reverend Sandi McGill, tea/coffee with light refreshments will be served after worship in the Church Hall. Pastoral Care Group - If you know of any one in the Parish who is ill or in Hospital, or bereaved who would appreciate a card or visit please contact our Pastoral Care Co-ordinators Mrs Jean Wilson on (01324) 860105 or Mrs Aileen Thomson on (01324) 861352. We are delighted to have with us at the church next Friday, April 11 the wonderful Puppeteers from Falkirk. The show will commence at 7 p.m. doors will be open at 6.45 p.m pay at the door Adult £3 and Children £1 refreshments home baking tea/coffee also soft drinks are included in the ticket price, a wonderful evening will be had by all, if you require any further information please contact Jean Wilson on (01324) 860105. The Hub cafe opens every thursday between the hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Avonbridge Community Hall, a variety of hot and cold meals are served along with Toasties, baked potatoes and home baking. Takeaway service is available, also book exchange, Internet Access available.

History Group

The Local History Group are holding a slide show in Maddiston Community Centre tomorrow (Friday) April 11 beginning at 7 p.m., this is our first slide show for quite some time so take the opportunity to see the parish as it was as the changes to the area are coming quick and fast. This is the chance for those who have just moved into the area to see how it used to be and for those who were born and brought up here to reminisce a little. There will be a break for tea/coffee and a blether at half time, all ages welcome. Will members please note there will be no meeting on Monday, April 14.
