Senior Citizens

Airth and district senior citizens annual Christmas dinner will be held in Bar 189 at 12.30 for 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 13. All those wishing to attend must give their names to any committee member by Friday December 5 or e-mail Andrew Wilson at

Parish Church

Sunday morning worship at 11 a.m. will be conducted by Rev. Jim Todd. The service will include the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Bible Study/Fellowship Group meets on Tuesday in the church at 1.30 p.m. The four-week pastral care course meets on a Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the church until December 10. All welcome.

Community Council

The official switch on of the Christmas lights in Airth will take place on Friday, December 5 outside Airth Community Centre. The event will start at 6 p.m. with music and carol singing up to 6.30 p.m. when the parish Christmas tree lights will be switched on by Mrs Christine Todd from the Airth Manse, followed by a short fireworks display. Mulled wine, soft drinks, mince pies and shortbread will be served during the event and Santa will be present with goodies for the younger children. All residents of the parish are welcome to attend this very popular event.
