Parish Church

Sunday morning worship is at 11am and will be conducted by Rev. Jim Todd. Bible Study/Fellowship Group meet on Tuesday in the church at 1.30pm Mid week Bible Study ‘Reading your Bible’ runs in the church on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Coffee Morning

Airth and district senior citizens are hosting a coffee morning on Tuesday, July 7 in Airth Community Centre at 11am All donations in respect of the tombola, raffle and home baking stalls will be gratefully appreciated. No bric-a-brac. Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for children.

Community Council

The annual garden competition which is run by the Airth Parish Community Council will be judged by Angus MacDonald MSP on Wednesday, July 22. There are cash prizes for the best three gardens and a shield for the outright winner. The competition is open to all residents within Airth h which includes the villages of Airth, Letham, South Alloa and Dunmore. If you wish to nominate yourself, a relative, a friend or neighbour, please contact Bob Smith on (01324) 831538 or any community councillor. The community council is still looking to recruit a minute secretary to take the minutes of our monthly meetings and distribute them amongst the members. There will be a payment made for this service. For further information on this position, please contact Bob Smith or any community councillor. The next meeting of the community council will be the AGM which will be held on Wednesday, September 16, but if residents have any urgent issues they wish addressed during the holiday period, they can contact any community councillor for advice.
