This year, the committee is also celebrating raising £3000 at a community sponsored walk – almost three times as much as in previous years.
The money will go to staging the annual event, with £300 going to Tulliallan Primary School.
Linda Horan, committee member, said: “Our sponsored walk is usually held on a Sunday, but this year, for the first time, we, in conjunction with the school, held it on a week day and all the pupils took part.
“It turned out to be a great community project, raising over £3000, which is fantastic as it usually makes around £800 or £1000.”
This year’s gala will kick off at with the procession leaving Station Road at 12.15 p.m.
Tulliallan Boys’ Brigade Marching Band and Penicuik and Musselburgh Boys’ Brigade Pipe Band will supply the music, accompanying the royal party along the route.
The crowning will take place at 1 p.m. in Burnside Park where Gracious Lady Marion McGregor will crown Queen Elect Adele Hoxley.
Big-name rides will also pull the crowd into the park for fairground fun, stalls, raffles and entertainment for the rest of the afternoon.
