Catch up with Falkirk folk in far flung places
WHERE ARE YOU FROM ORIGINALLY? Carronshore.
WHERE ARE YOU NOW? I spent four years in Southampton, 11 years in various parts of London, lived in Spain for a year and now live in Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire.
WHY ARE YOU THERE? Moved here after getting married.
WHAT DO YOU DO? Unemployed at the minute, but a self-employed painter and decorator.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE? Since 1998.
FAMILY? Three daughters, Annie, Laura and Beth. Also have lots of friends in Tewkesbury.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE NOW? The history and the Tudor buildings. My favourite is Tewkesbury Abbey.
ANYTHING YOU DON’T LIKE? It feels like everyone knows everyone else’s business.
BIGGEST DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERE AND HERE? The building work is different.
WHAT DO YOU MISS MOST FROM HOME? Friends, haggis and black pudding suppers. And Falkirk Football Club.
ANY MESSAGE FOR FAMILY AND OLD FRIENDS? Hello. I miss you but will hopefully be home soon.
