Abseil down historic Glasgow Titan Crane

There is still time to sign up for one of the limited places left on the Big Abseil from the historic Titan Crane on May 8 for Scotland's Health Charity.

In March 1941 the Titan Crane stood tall through the devastating air raid on Clydebank during World War II. Meanwhile, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (then called NAPT) was working to fight tuberculosis and supporting the people of Scotland during the most difficult of times. Today the Titan Crane continues to stand proud on the banks of the Clyde as CHSS continues to strive to improve the quality of life for those living in Scotland.

Andrea McIntyre, CHSS Event Manager, said: “The Titan Crane has a history in Scotland going back almost as far as CHSS who have been striving for Scotland’s health since 1899. We want your help to keep providing these services and supporting those with chest, heart and stroke conditions through advice, support and crucial research.”

Individuals, groups of friends, co-workers and family members are invited to come out in force and show their titan courage, raising money to support those with chest, heart and stroke illness along the way. You can sign up for this invigorating event for just £20 with a pledge to raise an additional £105 in sponsorship. All participants will receive a special certificate to commemorate their bravery on the day.
