Wedding of the Week: Rebecca Boyd and Scott Wallace

Rebecca (28), is a project officer and her husband Scott (29), is a plant operator. The couple live in Falkirk.

HOW DID THEY MEET: The couple met each other online.

THE PROPOSAL: Scott proposed to Rebecca on December 5, which is her birthday, at Orocco Peir in South Queensferry.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married on July 7, in the Norton House Hotel. They were joined by 100 guests during the day and another 140 guests at night.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Rebecca’s maid of honour was Melissa Laird (28) and her groom Scott’s best man was Stuart McLaughlin (30). The couple had two ushers, Craig Burns (29)and Sinclair Campbell (27).

THE HONEYMOON: The couple left for their honeymoon on July 11 which they spent in Mexico in the Platinum Yucatan Princess Resort where they spent two weeks relaxing in the sun.

THANKS: The couple would like to thank Rebecca’s parents, Robert and Marion Boyd, and Scott’s parents, Graham and Suzanne Wallace. Rebecca would like to say a special thank you to her dad for making her a princess for a day.
