Wedding of the Week: Maria Pinto and Tiago Freire

Maria (37) is currently not working, while Tiago (30) works at a local recycling centre. The couple live in Camelon.

HOW THEY MET: The happy couple met in Portugal, where they are both from, and have lived in Scotland for the last six years.

THE PROPOSAL: Tiago asked Maria to marry him in December – and she said yes.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married at Falkirk Registrars Office on May 18, 2018. Maria and Tiago were joined by 30 family and friends for the special occasion.


THE WEDDING PARTY: Maria’s bridesmaids were Edna Laurinda, Solange Melo and Iris Freire. While Tiago’s best men were John Heughan, Bruno Freire and Ricardo Freire.

THANKS: The couple would like to thank all their family and friends who shared in their wedding and helped to make it an extra special day.
