The wedding of June Beveridge and Thomas Morton
HOW THEY MET: The couple met in a pub.
THE PROPOSAL: Thomas popped the question during a romantic dinner in Pierre’s in Falkirk. June wasn’t completely surprised as she had already picked out a ring, but was delighted.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held at the Grange Manor on February 19. There were 64 guests during the day and another 60 in the evening. The day went perfectly. June’s highlight was the humanist service, but she believes her guests’ highlight was the sweetie table she had created.
THE WEDDING PARTY: June’s niece Katie McMahon was the bridesmaid and the couple’s daughter Madeline (6) was the flower girl. The best man was Thomas’s friend Stephen Crosbie and the “wee best man” was the couple’s son, four-year-old Matthew.
THE DRESS: June’s dress was ivory with rose detail.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple are planning to get away in the spring,
THANKS: Special thanks to family and friends, Peter McDonald the humanist, the Grange Manor and photographer Stewart Hislop.
