The wedding of Victoria Sim and Steven Hannah

HOW THEY MET: The couple first met through friends.

THE PROPOSAL: Steven gave Victoria the surprise of her life when he proposed while the couple were on holiday in Flordia last year. Steven popped the question on the beach at Key West at sunset.

THE WEDDING: The wedding was held at Airth Castle on November 6. There were 90 guests at the ceremony and a total of 150 guests at night. Victoria said the day was amazing and she can’t believe it’s all over. The bride said the most memorable moment was seeing Steven for the first time at the ceremony.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Victoria’s bridesmaids were her older sister Helen Sim, best friend Pauline Myles, and Steven’s niece Emma Craigen (16). Steven’s best man was his friend Robert Hamilton, and the ushers were Denny Pullinger and Mark Adams.

THE DRESS: Victoria looked beautiful in Royal Joyce champagne gown and cathedral-length veil. The dress had a sweetheart neckline and had beading and crystals on the bodice.

THE HONEYMOON: The newlyweds are jetting off to Barbados on January 1.

THANKS: Thanks are extended to both sets of parents, Gina and Peter Sim and Doreen and Amos Hannah and both families. Special thanks go to Victoria’s mum for doing so much towards the big day.
